Are you feeling down and have little interest or pleasure in doing things you normally do? Do you feel tired or have little energy or so restless that it is hard to sit still and relax? Are you easily annoyed or irritable? If you answer yes to any or all of these questions, then you may be experiencing some depression and anxiety. But I have good news for you! Depression and Anxiety is treatable through talk therapy sessions and can often resolve in the short-term. Therapy does not have to be a long-term process and often you can achieve the goals you set for yourself within a matter of months.

Women often face unique challenges related to gender stereotyping which often affects women’s mental health. Talk-therapy or counseling is often used to treat these issues. Issues such as self-esteem, problems in the workplace, guilt and shame, caregiver burn-out are just a few of issues common to women that are talked about in counseling.
